Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Olathe, KS is seeking a Part-time Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered care under a charge nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, document care, and support meals with compassion.

The role includes administering prescribed medications under supervision, maintaining plan of care, and communicating changes to the charge nurse. A CMA/CNA certification as required by state law is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be 18+; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred
• State requirements: CMA/TMA or CNA certification depending on location

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of a charge nurse
• Assist with activities of daily living and daily living tasks
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse
• Document outcomes related to resident care, med administration, behavior, and dietary
• Communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse
• Assist with transferring, range of motion, and mobility
• Support meals and dining and assist with hydration
