Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide (QMA) to administer prescribed medications to residents in an assisted living environment. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following state regulations and facility policies to ensure safe, accurate medication delivery.

The role requires good standing on the state registry, completion of the QMA competency program if needed, and basic computer skills to operate EHR software.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the medication aide registry in your state.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program if required.
• Must be currently enrolled in high school or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Follow established nursing standards, community policies, procedures, and state requirements.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
