Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center in Youngsville, NC is seeking a Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Candidates must be in good standing on their state registry and have completed the QMA competency evaluation, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills and EHR familiarity are required. The role offers full-time or part-time shifts, hourly wage of $18.00, and opportunities for career growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides.
• The administration of medication shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the community policies, procedures, and practices, and the requirements of the state in which you operate.
