Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove in Wilmington, NC is seeking a part-time Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following facility policies and state regulations. The role requires registry status, computer skills, and completion of the QMA competency program if required by the state.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides. The administration of medication shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the community policies, procedures, and practices, and the requirements of the state in which you operate.

Education/Qualifications:

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.

• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
