Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current Medication Aide/Medication Technician certification, as required by state regulations.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required.
• Previous experience in healthcare, assisted living, nursing home, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to safely administer and document medications according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and basic infection-control practices.
• Ability to accurately document medication administration and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to working with residents.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect residents’ privacy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility employment requirements.
