Job summary

Century Care Management Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Technician to join our long-term care team in Greensboro, NC.

The role requires compassionate patient care, reliable attendance, and the ability to document medications accurately while following physician orders and facility policies. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in long-term care, knowledge of infection-control practices, and strong communication skills to coordinate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Medication Aide/Technician certification preferred as required by state.
  • CPR/First Aid certification current or preferred.
  • Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely administer and document medications per orders.
  • Knowledge of medication procedures and infection-control basics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidentiality and resident privacy protection.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Pass background checks and facility screening.
  • Able to perform physical duties (standing, lifting, helping residents).

Responsibilities

  • Safely administer and document medications per physician orders.
  • Maintain infection-control practices.
  • Accurately document medication administration and report changes.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
  • Pass background checks and meet employment requirements.
  • Assist residents with daily activities as needed.
  • Escort or support residents during routines and transfers.
