Are you passionate about the Medicare population and looking for an opportunity to work in sales with the ability to directly impact your income potential? Do you have a track record of building trusting community relationships and exceeding expectations? If so, we are seeking licensed, highly motivated, and self-driven individuals to join our team.

In this field position, you will build community relationships, drive self-generated sales, and meet sales goals and metrics while working independently. You will interact with Humana’s customers, external business partners, and the community through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic interactions. Face-to-face activities include grassroots marketing, community events, and visiting prospects in their homes. Our Medicare Sales Field Agents sell individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries on our services in a field setting. Additional products include Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, Prescription, and more.

Use your skills to make an impact
  • Ability to have daily face-to-face interactions with prospective members is required
  • Active Health Insurance license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Experience with technology, including laptops, mobile apps, CRM tools, and sales/marketing resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of personal vehicle liability insurance (at least 100/300/100 limits), and pass a Motor Vehicle Report
  • Internet connection with a download speed of at least 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps recommended
  • Work from a dedicated, interruption-free space to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
  • Reside within the assigned territory/county

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance licenses
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with TEAMS and PowerPoint
  • Community engagement through service, organizations, and volunteerism
  • Experience selling Medicare products
  • Public speaking and presentation skills

Additional Information:

  • Language proficiency assessments may be required for non-English speakers
  • Applicants may be asked to provide social security number for leader review, via a secure process

Schedule: Meetings with members may vary in evenings and weekends; flexibility is essential.

Training: First 3-4 weeks of employment, attendance is mandatory.

Interview Process: Uses HireVue for initial screening, including a brief recorded interview.

Selected candidates will receive a HireVue invitation via text, with questions to respond to within approximately 15 minutes.

Travel may be required occasionally for training or meetings. The position is remote, with scheduled weekly hours of 40. The estimated annual salary range is $31,800 - $43,800, plus potential commissions based on performance.
