Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to own the analytical strategy and data science roadmap for our Medicare sales organization. You will set technical direction, lead a team of data scientists and analysts, and partner with sales leadership to drive data-driven growth across Medicare Advantage and Part D markets.

You will architect end-to-end modeling pipelines, govern the data ecosystem, and translate business questions from Sales, Marketing, and Finance into structured analytic

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science or advanced analytics with 3+ years in lead role
• 3+ years supporting Medicare sales or distribution
• Proven track record mentoring a team of data scientists or analysts
• Expert-level SQL; Python or R for modeling and pipelines
• Experience with CMS enrollment files, landscape files, and related data
• Experience integrating CRM (Salesforce or similar) and BI platforms
• Strong communication skills for executive-level storytelling

Responsibilities

• Define and drive data science strategy for Medicare sales and enrollment growth
• Lead a team of data scientists and analysts, setting priorities and developing talent
• Architect end-to-end modeling pipelines: lead scoring, enrollment forecasting, agent performance
• Own the sales data ecosystem: governance, quality, integration across CRM/CMS/internal platforms
• Translate business questions into structured analytical programs across Sales/Marketing/Finance
• Establish best practices for model development, validation, deployment, monitoring
• Present findings to VP/C-suite and influence strategic decisions with data
• Partner with Engineering to productionize models and embed insights in workflows
• Represent DS function in cross-functional budgeting and roadmaps
