Position Summary

Fully Remote ANYWHERE within the continental U.S.

Training hours: 9 - 5:30 EST or CST

Work hours after training: 10 - 6:30 pm EST

Role Description

The WorkLife Consultant (WLC) is part of the WorkLife Team, providing education about community resources, needs assessments, and referrals for various needs including childcare, elder/adult care, and basic needs. The WLC offers consultation and informational services to members and plan sponsors, primarily addressing emergency financial, housing, childcare, elder care, and health-related needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess resource needs, propose options, and research potential community service providers.
  2. Provide resource referrals and educate individuals on resource utilization for various life and work situations.
  3. Document member interactions and research outcomes accurately in the system.
  4. Work in an inbound/outbound call center environment, including making outbound calls and conducting research.
  5. Handle administrative or customer service calls as needed.
  6. Support additional tasks such as staffing online chat platforms based on business needs.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience educating individuals/families on community resources and making referrals.
  • Experience working with elderly and/or adults with disabilities, including needs assessments and referrals.
  • Experience in social work, social services, or case management.
  • Proficiency in conducting resource needs assessments.
  • Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 25mbps/3mbps), hardwired connection preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish speaking skills.
  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Experience with diverse populations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required.
  • Master's degree in Social Work preferred.
Work Details

Anticipated weekly hours: 40

Time type: Full-time

Compensation

Pay range: $21.10 - $44.99 per hour, based on experience, education, and location. Eligible for bonuses and incentives.
