First Coast Service Options, Inc. seeks a Provider Audit and Reimbursement Auditor (PARD) to analyze cost reports and PS&R data for accurate Medicare settlements.

The role involves desk reviews, coordinating with senior staff on hospital audits, and supporting special projects within CMS guidelines. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in auditing/finance, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience in auditing, accounting, analytics, finance or similar field.
• Demonstrated oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyze cost reports and PS&R data to determine tentative settlements for pass-through costs (30%).
• Perform desk reviews of cost reports for SNFs, ESRDs, FQHCs/RHCs, and hospitals receiving Medicare reimbursement (30%).
• Coordinate with senior auditors for hospital audits and follow-up with provider representatives (15%).
• Support special projects like IRIS data, HCRIS transmissions, wage index submissions, STAR updates and CET tracking (10%).
• Assist management with administrative tasks and electronic/hard-copy files (5%).
• Attend conferences and advise providers on Medicare policy as needed (5%).
