Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a healthcare financial-related field; hospital reimbursement experience preferred.
• 3+ years hospital reimbursement experience preferred.
• Experience with cost-based / PPS-exempt providers and cost report settlements.
• Experience with Medicaid supplemental payment programs (e.g., DSH/LIP, UPL, state directed payments, IGTs).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and maintain the Medicare Cost Report and related reimbursement analyses.
• Develop and update settlement and contractual allowance models reflecting payment changes and cost report impacts.
• Reconcile balance sheet settlement and contractual allowance accounts.
• Monitor and analyze regulatory changes impacting reimbursement and financial reporting.
• Coordinate CMS-855A provider enrollment activities and other enrollment updates.
