Job summary

Gonzaba Medical Group is seeking a patient-focused team member to support Medicare Advantage patients with service issues and plan benefits. You will engage with patients by phone and in person to educate them on GMG services and advocate roles.

Key duties include scheduling, verification of insurance, and guiding patients through plan benefits while coordinating with clinic staff. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to serve diverse patients in the Texas area.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare or Medicare Advantage is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist Medicare Advantage patients with service needs and plan benefits.
• Make outbound welcome calls to educate new Medicare Advantage patients.
• Schedule and manage appointments using Athena system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with claims or enrollment forms.
• Provide information about community resources and PMH resources as needed.
