Job summary

KAISER seeks a Vice President and General Manager for Government Programs to lead the Medicare Advantage business in designated markets. You will drive strategy, growth, quality, and financial performance across MA, aligning with KP’s integrated care model and value-based care goals.

The role requires deep MA expertise, strong collaboration with providers and regulators, and a track record of delivering sustainable market leadership and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in healthcare management and MA operations.
• Proven ability to drive growth, network development and financial performance.
• Strong collaboration with providers, regulators and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic regional leadership for the Medicare Advantage line of business.
• Develop and implement market-specific strategies to grow MA revenue and market share.
• Collaborate with PMGs, care delivery, and National Health Plan leadership to align operations.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans supporting strategic initiatives.
• Drive performance management through an defined operating model.
• Lead care management, disease management, and population health programs for MA members.
• Oversee network development, provider engagement, and value-based care initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with CMS guidelines and state regulations.
