Job summary

The Community Relations Representative for Prominence Medicare Advantage in McAllen, TX, will build local awareness and generate leads through grassroots marketing and community events. You will develop CMS-approved strategies for events, coordinate member growth and retention initiatives, and work with a collaborative team to remove barriers to healthcare for South Texas residents.

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) abilities and knowledge of CMS marketing rules are a plus, and you will travel within

Qualifications

• Two years' experience working with Medicare/Medicaid recipients, or coordinating/executing community events.
• Knowledge of CMS Marketing rules, insurance sales, Medicare products, and client management.
• Health Producer's license issued by the State of Texas required (must have a valid license within 90 days of employment).
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable motor vehicle.
• Ability to apply state and federal insurance laws and Prominence business processes to everyday circumstances.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Bi-lingual a plus (Spanish-English).
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-starter with limited supervision; strong written and verbal communication; detailed and organized.
• Must be creative, innovative and have excellent interpersonal skills; and
• Must be self-oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Generate local community brand awareness for Prominence Medicare Advantage.
• Develop and implement CMS-approved marketing strategies for events and community activities.
• Drive leads and sales through grassroots efforts and event hosting.
• Coordinate and support member growth and retention initiatives with the team.
• Collaborate with a regional team to serve South Texas communities.
