Job summary

RTI Health Solutions is seeking an experienced medical writer to join our growing Medical Communications and Strategy team. You will draft publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters) and lead meetings with authors and clients, ensuring timely submissions and high-quality deliverables.

You will manage multiple projects, develop publication plans, and ensure adherence to ICMJE/GPP standards while maintaining strong client relationships across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the sciences, English, or communications.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing medical or scientific publications.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to present at meetings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with authors to develop publication plans and medical communications.
• Provide project management support from initiation to publication.
• Lead meetings and address questions confidently.
• Evaluate data and literature to develop publications.
• Develop publications per journal/conference guidelines and company style.
• Uphold industry publication standards and manage timelines and client relations.
