Job summary

RTI Health Solutions, part of RTI International, seeks an experienced medical writer to join our Medical Communications and Strategy team. You will draft publications, lead meetings, oversee journal submissions, and collaborate with authors and clients to translate complex data into publication-ready manuscripts.

A Bachelor’s degree in the sciences, English, or communications and at least 3 years of medical writing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the Sciences, English, or Communications.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing medical or scientific publications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to tailor content to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Draft publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters) and other medical communications.
• Provide project management support from initiation to publication and manage stakeholder communications.
• Lead meetings confidently and address challenging questions.
• Evaluate data and summarize study results and literature.
• Develop publications following company style and journal guidelines.
• Uphold publication standards including ICMJE and GPP practices.
