Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Walton, KY is seeking a Plant Operator for our medical waste treatment facility. The role includes lifting heavy loads, weighing containers, operating an autoclave, and运行 a Washsmart system, with a focus on accurate paperwork and team collaboration.

Shifts are 2nd shift (2PM-12:30AM) with a set rate of $20.00 per hour. This is a full-time DIRECT HIRE position offering benefits from day one and consistent hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse labor-intensive role with repetitive lifting of 50–75 lb containers.
• Willingness to pass a 5-panel urine drug screen.
• Willingness to undergo a 7-year background check.
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks and PPE.
• Proven longevity with employers.
• Can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Check in containers and verify paperwork.
• Move and unload specific waste containers.
• Operate forklift to load the autoclave.
• Load Washsmart system for container washing and sanitization.
• Maintain attention to weight records.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Work effectively with a team.
