Job summary

Daniels Health in Walton, KY is seeking a Plant Operator for our medical waste treatment facility. The role involves lifting and moving heavy bins, weighing containers, operating an autoclave, and handling sanitation systems while ensuring precise paperwork and safety.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 2nd shift (2PM–12:30AM) with full-time benefits and a direct-hire role for 40 hours per week. Prior warehouse experience and a can-do attitude are valued.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse or labor-intensive experience.
Willingness to pass a 5-panel urine drug screening.
Willingness to undergo a 7-year background check.
Basic math ability and accurate weight recording.
Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in PPE.
Proven longevity with past employers.

Responsibilities

Lifting 55 lbs bins and pushing a 200 lbs cart.
Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers.
Load and operate the autoclave machine.
Load the Washsmart container washing system.
Ensure careful, accurate paperwork for containers.
Stand for extended periods and work as part of a team.
