Job summary

Waste Management in Baltimore is seeking a Medical Waste Route Driver. The role focuses on servicing assigned accounts, ensuring safe and compliant waste pickup, and delivering high-quality customer service.

The driver may transport waste between WM locations or customer sites to transfer or processing locations, with cameras and ELD in each vehicle to monitor safety. Applicants should have 0-1 years of driving experience with box trucks, a valid license, and the ability to obtain a medical card

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience, preferably in driving Box Trucks and route management.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner.
• Must be able to obtain military clearance.
• Immunizations and credentialing may be required depending on customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned routes ensuring waste is picked up safely and on time.
• Transport waste safely according to all regulations.
• Follow daily schedules and routing software.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip maintenance checks on vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate issues for resolution.
