Daniels Health in Ellenwood, GA is hiring a Plant Operator/Warehouse Associate for our medical waste treatment facility. You will weigh incoming waste, operate the autoclave, recertify drums, and manage paperwork while working as part of a team.

The role is full‑time, third shift, with a set hourly rate and benefits. A forklift certification is preferred, and safety with PPE is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in labor‑intensive, warehouse, industrial or manufacturing roles.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds safely and repeatedly.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Comfortable around medical and universal waste with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Weigh incoming regulated medical waste containers using the weighbridge.
• Load/operate the autoclave machine (pressure chamber to melt materials).
• Recertify 55 gallon drums.
• Count universal waste and add to the waste manifest.
• Provide attention to detail with required paperwork.
• Stand for extended periods and work well in a team.
