Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to support hospitals with secure medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation. You will be on the move, lifting and inspecting containers, and using a company smartphone to coordinate tasks daily.

This role requires daily commuting Downtown Chicago, with consistent hours and OT opportunities. Competitive pay and full benefits are included as part of a growth-focused, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Reliable transportation to and from Downtown Chicago.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to perform hands-on tasks.
• Strong attention to paperwork and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entering procedural spaces around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lift containers up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs throughout the day.
• Maintain inventory of containers and ensure areas are stocked and organized.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
