Job summary

SlingShot Connections is seeking a Receiving, Distribution & Records Technician to support warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory and documentation. You will receive, store, and distribute supplies, using the inventory system to track items and maintain compliance with policies.

Qualifications

  • Holds a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred)
  • 2+ years in supply chain, warehouse, materials handling, or receiving (preferred)
  • Experience with inventory or supply chain management systems (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills including email and data entry
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear communication and customer service
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to maintain inventory records and documentation
  • Willingness to obtain California Designated Representative (Exemptee) certification for on-call eligibility (required)
  • Willingness to support warehouse operations and other duties as needed

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and distribute supplies and equipment throughout the facility
  • Maintain inventory using the supply chain management system
  • Deliver supplies to hospital departments and offsite locations
  • Assist with pickup and delivery of records and supplies
  • Assign storage locations and container labels
  • Operate barcode scanners to track inventory and records
  • Retrieve, store, and purge records per policies
  • Maintain record retention inventories with guidance from Warehouse Supervisor
  • Assist with general warehouse operations and inventory activities
  • Support maintenance and upkeep of warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Provide support to additional departments as needed
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-focused work environment

Job description

The Receiving, Distribution & Records Technician supports warehouse operations by receiving,

storing, distributing, and tracking supplies, equipment, and records while maintaining accurate

inventory and documentation.

We're looking for someone who
  • Holds a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and work experience (preferred)
  • Has 2+ years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, materials handling, or receiving and distribution (preferred)
  • Has experience using inventory or supply chain management systems (preferred)
  • Possesses basic computer skills, including email and data entry
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Communicates clearly and provides excellent customer service
  • Is able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Can accurately maintain inventory records and documentation
  • Is willing to obtain California Designated Representative (Exemptee) certification for on-call eligibility (required)
  • Is willing to support warehouse operations and other assigned duties as needed
