Job summary

Patient First is seeking a qualified laboratory professional to provide accurate and timely lab results, following proper specimen collection and processing procedures. The role involves adhering to quality control policies, maintaining records, and assisting clinical staff with patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, inventory management, and participation in mandatory CPR and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent with certain college/degree requirements in chemistry/biology/medical lab sciences.
• Two years clinical laboratory testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and rapid lab results with proper procedures.
• Follow specimen collection, handling, and processing procedures and maintain records of results.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document calibrations/maintenance.
• Order lab supplies in the medical record system per physician orders.
• Assist physicians and nurses with patient treatment and care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize lab and treatment areas.
• Attend mandatory training and CPR classes.
