Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology, or meet CLIA’88 grandfather requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and body fluid specimens.
• Perform instrument function checks and preventative maintenance per policy.
• Assist the Section Supervisor and oversee teaching and evaluation of students and new employees; minor instrument repair as needed.
