Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control to ensure data accuracy and reporting timeliness.
• Maintain routine preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments as scheduled.
• Calibrate and verify instrument functioning; document data and repairs.
• Record repairs and maintenance in equipment logs for auditability.
• Conduct chemical, hematological, microbiological and serological analyses on body fluids.
• Enter results into computer systems and communicate critical findings per guidelines.
• Train and supervise students and assist with patient-oriented duties as needed.
• Meet established turnaround times and notifyPathologist of unusual results.
