FMOLHS seeks a Medical Technologist to perform routine and specialized lab tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology and the blood bank at the Lake Main Campus in Baton Rouge.

The role emphasizes quality control, accurate reporting, and collaboration with physicians and staff to support patient care. A BS degree and NAACLS-approved MT/CLS training are required, with Louisiana licensure as CLS-G or CLS-S with appropriate specialty registry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• One year training in a NAACLS approved MT/CLS program.
• Licensed in Louisiana as CLS-G or CLS-S with Registry in applicable specialty.

Responsibilities

• Perform diverse medical technology procedures across chemistry, hematology, microbiology and blood bank.
• Ensure quality control, documentation and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Deliver professional patient care with a humanistic approach across age groups.
• Establish cooperative relationships with patients, physicians, staff and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
