Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Medical Technologist to join our Laboratory team on a per diem, mid-shift basis. The role includes performing diagnostic tests across chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology, with independence in assigned areas and maintaining high-quality patient care.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in Medical Technology, ASCP MT certification or eligibility, and be eligible for state licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or equivalent with required certification training
• ASCP MT certification or eligibility required/preferred
• Eligibility for Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a related field is preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology

Baccalaureate degree with biology/chemistry major or related combination

Master’s or doctorate in related field (preferred)

Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP

MT (ASCP) certification or eligible with Bachelor's

Certified MT (HEW)

Certified MT (AMT)
