Job summary

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a per diem Medical Technologist for the Day Shift. The role covers weekends and rotating holidays as a per diem position with day shifts.

Responsibilities include training staff on POCT devices, ensuring quality control and regulatory compliance, and overseeing instrument performance and vendor relations. Requires a MT/MLS background with ASCP certification eligible and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• 2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience, POCT experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology
• 2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience, POCT experience preferred
• Master’s or doctorate in chemistry, biology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, allied health, clinical laboratory sciences or an appropriately related field (preferred)
• Possess or be eligible for Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP
• With Bachelor's; MT (ASCP) certification or eligible.
• Certified as MT (HEW)
• Certified as MT (AMT)
