Job summary

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a per diem Medical Technologist for PRN Night shifts. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology and ASCP eligibility. Per diem schedule includes every third weekend and two holidays annually.

Training and certification requirements are outlined, with preferred advanced degrees and MT certifications. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology.
• Baccalaureate with major in biology or chemistry, or 30 sem hrs in biology/chemistry/medical sciences.
• Master’s or doctorate in related field preferred.
• Possess or be eligible for ASCP technologist certification.
• With Bachelor's; MT (ASCP) certification or eligible.
• Certified MT (HEW)

Description

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic is looking for a per diem Medical Technologist. Shift: PRN Nights, every third weekend, 2 holidays per year.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology
• Baccalaureate degree with a major in biological science or chemistry, or baccalaureate degree with a combination of 30 semester hours of biology, chemistry and/or medical sciences, AND meet the training and/or experience requirements for the specific certification
• Master’s or doctorate in chemistry, biology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, allied health, clinical laboratory sciences or an appropriately related field (preferred)
• Possess or be eligible for Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP
• With Bachelor's; MT (ASCP) certification or eligible.
• Certified as MT (HEW)
• Certified as MT (AMT)
