Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science per CLIA 88 required.
• MT/MLS (ASCP or AMT), HEW or eligible required.
• New graduates ASCP eligible should complete registry within 6 months; MLT (ASCP) bridge candidates within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the vision and mission of Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
• Demonstrates proficiency and core competency in attendance, scheduling, judgment, initiative and teamwork.
• Acquires and updates knowledge on policies, specimen collection, test procedures and instrumentation.
• Demonstrates technical expertise for accurate and reliable testing in all hospital lab areas.
• Performs patient, quality control, proficiency, quality assurance testing and required documentation.
