Job description

Medical Technologist (MT) – LC/MS R&D

Location: Florida

We have an URGENT need for a Florida-licensed technologist with experience in method development and instrument troubleshooting using LC-MS. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, preferably with experience in a clinical toxicology lab.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Conduct urine and oral fluid testing for controlled and illicit substances; assist in implementing new testing panels, evaluating new platforms, and optimizing current analytical methods.
  2. Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining lab instrumentation.
  3. Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  4. Mentor a team of MT/MLT/CLS licensed staff.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Forensics.
  • Hands-on experience with chromatography (LC/MS, SPE) is essential.
  • Ability to optimize sample preparation and analytical methods, troubleshoot instrumentation.
  • Ability to work independently.
