Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) from HEW or AMT, or completion of military training.
• Meets qualifications for high complexity testing personnel as per C.L.I.A. Subpart M.
• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or categorical/specialist certification in a laboratory discipline.

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Night Shift

As a Medical Technologist II at MercyOne Genesis, you will perform moderate and high complexity testing in various laboratory areas, including Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Microbiology, Serology, and Blood Bank. Responsibilities include proper patient and specimen identification, adherence to testing policies, instrument troubleshooting, and computer functions.

Qualifications:

• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or categorical/specialist certification in a laboratory discipline from ASCP, or certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) from HEW or AMT, or completion of military training as a Medical Laboratory Specialist. Certification in MT(ASCP), CLS (NCA), MLS(ASCP), MT(AMT), or MT(HEW).
• Meets qualifications for high complexity testing personnel as per C.L.I.A. Subpart M. Sec. 493.1491.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
