Job summary

Virtua Health seeks a qualified medical technologist for our Voorhees, NJ laboratory, responsible for analyzing and validating complex tests on biological materials. The role supports both moderate and high complexity procedures with strict adherence to procedures and quality control.

Responsibilities include post-analytic validation, trend analysis, and timely communication of results. The position requires a CLIA externship, a bachelor's degree in laboratory science, and certification

Qualifications

• Minimum of externship in a CLIA laboratory.
• Good Interpersonal and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, interprets, and validates laboratory procedures on biological material for Virtua customers.
• Performs moderate and high complexity testing accurately and without direct supervision.
• Post-analytically validates results, investigates deviations, and applies corrective action.
• Performs, reviews and documents all quality control and pre-analytical processes (patient ID, phlebotomy, specimen labeling/verification).
• Operates, maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment as required.
• Provides outstanding customer service through effective communication.
