Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Medical Technician (MLT/MT) for the Voorhees, NJ area. The role performs moderate to high complexity testing, validates results, and ensures QC compliance. It requires a CLIA externship, a bachelor’s degree in laboratory science, and MT/MLT certification with ASCP preferred.

Qualifications

• Externship in a CLIA laboratory required.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and time management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in laboratory science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing accurately per procedures.
• Validate results post-analytically and investigate deviations.
• Document quality control activities according to policies.
• Handle pre-analytical steps including patient ID and specimen labeling.
• Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service through effective communication.
