Qualifications

• Five continuous years of generalist experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• MT/ASCP, MLT/ASCP or other certification recognized by Laboratory Certification Agencies preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine, complex or specialized laboratory procedures across departments with accuracy.
• Conduct quality control and proficiency testing per policy; support performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety goals and patient identification requirements.
• Maintain competence and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Adhere to accreditation standards by Joint Commission and CAP; document records.
• Promote efficiency, reduce waste, and market services to increase volume and awareness.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, business office, and medical records.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality and timekeeping; demonstrate initiative and professionalism.
