Purpose & Scope:

The Lead Medical Technologist in Microbiology is responsible for performing the duties of a Medical Technologist and overseeing supervisory activities in the absence of the Division Head or when assistance is needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree is preferred.
• Completion of training from an approved school of medical technology is preferred.

Experience:

• Two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
