HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. You will perform accurate and timely testing across core modalities and ensure proper documentation of patient results.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred), a Florida Technologist License or ability to obtain one, and have at least 1 year of MT experience in generalist areas such as blood bank, serology, chemistry, hematology or microbiology.

Competenze

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Florida Technologist License required or ability to obtain during interview.
• Minimum 1 year MT experience preferred.
• Licenses in clinical specialties: generalist, blood bank, serology, chemistry, hematology, microbiology.

Mansioni

• Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing per instructions.
• Assume department responsibilities in supervisor's absence.
• Completes records and documentation for patient results.
• Perform stat procedures within turnaround targets.
• Use good judgment for interpretation of results and delta checks.
• Review logs and communicate workload to staff.
