Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science, or health-related field.
• Completion of a clinical laboratory training program is required.
• Applicants with a Biology/ Chemistry degree plus clinical training may be considered in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform STAT and routine clinical laboratory testing on biological specimens using manual methods and automated analyzers.
• Report valid and accurate patient results in a timely manner.
• Interact with physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals to coordinate testing and understanding of test availability.
• Participate in operational support activities to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.
