Requires Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology or related field, completion of clinical training, and Florida

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science, or health related field.
• Completion of a clinical laboratory training program is required.
• Applicants with a Baccalaureate Degree in Biology or Chemistry with clinical training will be considered in appropriate field.

Responsibilities

• Perform STAT and routine clinically laboratory testing on samples using manual methods and automated analyzers.
• Report valid and accurate patient results in a timely manner.
• Interacts with physicians, nurses and other health professionals to coordinate testing and interpretation, promoting understanding of test availability.
• Participates in operational support activities to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.

Education

Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology / Medical Laboratory Science / health related field

Completion of a clinical laboratory training program

Biology or Chemistry with clinical training or experience considered
