Job summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled medical laboratory professional to perform and interpret analysis on patient specimens using advanced techniques. You will provide critical data to aid physicians in diagnosing patients, aligning with Mercy Service Standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and ongoing collaboration with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care across our facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Up to 3 years of clinical laboratory experience as MLS/MT or certification eligible new MLS graduate.
• Current MT/MLS certification or categorical certification through ASCP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens using complex laboratory techniques.
• Provides medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis.

Experience

• up to 3 years acceptable clinical laboratory experience as a certified MLS/MT or equivalent or certification eligible new MLS graduate

Certifications: Current certification as MT/MLS or categorical certification, through ASCP or equivalent
