Mercy Fort Smith Hospital is seeking a PRN Medical Technologist to perform and report tests across hematology, chemistry, bacteriology, serology, and urinalysis. Responsibilities include specimen collection, equipment operation, inventory control, quality control, calibration, and LIS usage while upholding Mercy service standards.

Responsible for the performance and reporting various technical, chemical, microscopic and microbiological tests to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment. Performs these tests in the areas of Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Bacteriology, Blood Bank, Serology, and Urinalysis. Also responsible for, but not limited to, performing specimen collections, routine equipment operation and maintenance/repair, inventory control, quality control, calibration, workload recording, and quality assessment. Properly utilizes the LIS and all other computer programs related to patient care. Demonstrates positive customer service skills. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
