CHS in Naples, FL is seeking a Medical Technologist I (Generalist) for PRN night shifts. The role performs moderate to high complexity tests, maintains quality controls, troubleshoots instruments, and supports regulatory compliance. Phlebotomy duties and teaching responsibilities may be included.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, documenting results, and collaborating with healthcare staff to deliver accurate patient care. Prior lab experience and relevant certifications are preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field is required.
• Passing score on CLT Proficiency exam approved by HEW is required.
• 0–2 years acute care experience is required.

Mansioni

• Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory tests and report results accurately.
• Follow quality control procedures and troubleshoot out-of-range results.
• Conduct instrument function checks and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and escalate as needed.
• Ensure procedures comply with safety regulations and PPE use.
• Communicate test results and issues with healthcare staff.
• Assist with phlebotomy and collect urine drug screens when required.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to accreditation efforts.
