FMOLHS seeks a Medical Technologist to perform routine and specialized lab tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology and the blood bank at the Lake Main Campus in Baton Rouge.
The role emphasizes quality control, accurate reporting, and collaboration with physicians and staff to support patient care. A BS degree and NAACLS-approved MT/CLS training are required, with Louisiana licensure as CLS-G or CLS-S with appropriate specialty registry.
Performs various routine or special chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic laboratory tests. The duties of a Medical Technologist may be specific to a particular area of the laboratory, such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, or the blood bank.
Experience - Preferred but not required
Education - Bachelor's Degree
Training - One year training in a NAACLS approved MT/CLS program
