Job summary

Education required includes a BS in Medical Technology or related field, with certification as an MLS (ASCP BOC) preferred or obtained within the first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related medical or scientific discipline.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by ASCP BOC or equivalent preferred; must be obtained within the first year if not certified.

Certification: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by ASCP BOC or equivalent, or relevant categorical certification preferred at the time of hire, however, if not certified, certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
