Job summary

GC LabTech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to join our team in a state-of-the-art laboratory that processes hundreds of thousands of plasma donor samples annually.

The role covers daily testing, quality control, instrument validation, SOP maintenance, and CFR-compliant documentation; travel for training may be required. A B.S. in a life sciences field and 5 years of lab experience, with English fluency and strong organizational skills, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, biology, microbiology, chemical science, or related life sciences.
• Minimum 5 years of related laboratory experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedules to meet business and production needs.
• Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no H-1B visa sponsorship.
• Fluently speak, read, and write English; professional communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and access samples from clients; test according to SOP and verify results in LIS.
• Test samples; monitor and evaluate quality control data and initiate corrective action.
• Assist in validation of new laboratory tests and/or instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment; troubleshoot and document corrective actions.
• Follow and enforce all laboratory safety guidelines.
• Travel as required for instrument training or manufacturer requirements.
• Assist with receipt and management of supplies and reagents; prepare and test reagents.
• Document CFR- and regulatory-compliant details accurately.
• Assist in development or revision of laboratory SOPs.
• Schedule/plan routine maintenance to minimize workflow impact.
• Support the organization’s mission, vision, values, and high standards.
