Qualifications

• Ability to perform high complexity testing in a GMP environment.
• Ability to document and report test results per regulatory requirements.
• Follows CLIA, FDA, EMA guidelines and safety standards.
• ALCOA-compliant documentation and data integrity practices.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and consistently performs assigned laboratory test procedures as outlined in established standard operating procedures.
• Uses proper techniques for sample handling and processing to ensure the validity of test results.
• Conserves laboratory resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Ensures training qualifications for independent testing are current and accurate.
• Learns complex concepts, technical specifications, and procedures through training.
• Adheres to quality control policies, evaluates control results, and documents actions.
• Performs instrument calibrations and maintenance per schedules and verifies completion.
• Identifies problems that may affect test performance or reporting.
• Maintains knowledge of complex automated testing equipment to resolve errors.
• Reviews results for accuracy and regulatory compliance prior to release.
• Recognizes invalid results and documents corrective actions.
• Documents all errors and corrective actions when systems deviate.
• Follows GMP for documentation and record-keeping to ensure data integrity.
• Works as part of a team to complete Plasma Testing Laboratory daily workload.
• Maintains safety standards and handles biohazardous materials appropriately.
• Works overtime, holidays, or weekends as needed.
• Performs maintenance tasks on testing assays and instruments; daily checks and monthly maintenance log reviews.
