Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory or related field with the completion of a 12‑month internship in a Medical Technology program approved by NAACLS with ASCP or AMT certification.
• Certification from ASCP or AMT must be obtained within 15 months from date of hire.
• BLS certification may be required within 30 days from hire depending on patient care performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform, verify, and report results of routine and complex laboratory procedures on body tissues and fluids.
• Assist supervisor with evaluating new instruments, reagents, QC information, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist team lead with apheresis procedures, bone marrows, educational sessions, and quality control/improvement activities.
