Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLT/Lab Technician to perform and interpret tests across complexity levels and contribute to high-quality patient care.

You will work days with on-call requirements, participate in continuing education, and maintain strict quality control while following CLIA regulations. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology
• Meets the CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel grandfathering clause.
• Diploma and/or transcripts must be provided. Education verified. Foreign transcripts translated if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, testing, reporting and record keeping.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge related to job duties (CLIA, etc.).
• Adhere to quality control policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Identify and correct problems affecting test performance or reporting; inform supervisor as needed.
• Maintain instruments/equipment per manufacturer specifications; ensure good documentation practices.
• Perform proficiency testing per CLIA requirements and keep accurate records.
