Job summary

Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus lab roles offer experienced Medical Technologist/MLT/Lab Technician opportunities with day shifts (8:00am–4:30pm) and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000. The role emphasizes accurate testing, quality control, and education for staff and students.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a lab science, CLIA high-complexity qualifications grandfathering, and proper documentation. Preferred MT/MLT/MLS certifications and PCR knowledge are assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science from an accredited institution.
• Meets the CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel grandfathering clause.
• Diploma and/or transcripts must be provided.
• Education outside the United States requires translation of diploma/transcripts and proof of foreign equivalency from a NACES member.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge as it pertains to specific job duties.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Provide instruction and training in theory, skills, safety protocols and test protocols to students, employees or residents.
