Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist or MLT for the day shift in Ohio. The role involves phlebotomy, and performing laboratory testing with attention to result accuracy and rapid reporting.

The position requires a Baccalaureate in Medical Technology or an MLT in addition to relevant certification and active licensure where applicable. A sign-on bonus is offered and benefits start on day one.

Qualificações

• Education: Baccalaureate in Medical Technology or Associate in MLT.
• Certification from ASCP or equivalent; eligible for certification.
• Active certification where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Performs all clinical testing in the assigned department.
• Records and reports test results accurately and promptly.
• Performs and interprets quality control testing per guidelines.
• Maintains a high level of quality assurance.
• Practices safety procedures including Universal Precautions.
